IN THE COMING YEARS WE ARE PLANNING TO EXPAND TO BASALT. PATRICKS PLACE WILL BE A NEW ADDITION TO OUR DROP-IN CENTERS AND BRING OUR MENTORING PROGRAM & SERVICES TO THE MID VALLEY.

In Memory of
Patrick Palardy
It is my mission to create a resource for youth and teens in Basalt to support them in their development. Patrick’s Place, named after my 15-year old son who committed suicide on November 3, 2017, will be that resource. Patrick was not the classical case of a suicidal teen who exhibited signs of depression or other mental health issues. This tragedy stunned our family, his fellow students, and the community. With the appropriate professional support and awareness, I believe that our youth struggling with life’s many challenges should not go undetected or unsupported.
Patrick's Place will be Stepping Stones, newest drop-in center in Basalt. The drop-in center will utilize Stepping Stones existing program model to provide mentoring and services to local youth and families in the mid-valley region. The drop-in center will be open weekdays and offer activities on weekends to provide youth and young adults with a safe place to gather, recreate, support one another, have consistent access to critical adult mentors and create their own community.
Thank you for your consideration. Together we can make Patrick’s Place a reality. Please call us at 720.207.7646 with any questions or reach out to us at kyle@steppingstonesrfv.org.
With gratitude,
Temple Glassier, Patrick’s mom

HOW CAN YOU HELP
Stepping Stones is in the midst of a capital campaign to raise $800,000.
Phase 1 & 2 of the campaign will include raising funds to renovate our existing drop-in centers in Carbondale and paying down our loan. Phase 3 includes a goal to raise $75,000 for future expansion to Basalt.
